Hori Real Arcade Pro. EX Review Empty Hori Real Arcade Pro. EX Review

In support of Street Fighter IV, which is set to debut on February 17, Hori U.S.A, the stateside arm of the Japanese gaming accessory manufacturer, has released the Real Arcade Pro. EX fighting stick. The Hori Pro. Ex is wired Xbox 360 exclusive and went on sale on February 3 with an MSRP of $129.99. The Pro. Ex is one of two arcade sticks produced by Hori that are currently offered in the United States, the other being the compact EX2. As one of Japan's most renowned accessory manufacturers, Hori has a lot to live up to with the Pro. EX. Does it cut it? Find out in our full review.

The Hori Pro. EX is a no-frills fighting stick, aside from four color-coordinated Xbox 360 action buttons, every component of the stick has a black finish. The surface plate, buttons, and ball-grip joystick feature a high-gloss plastic finish, while the shell is constructed from a solid piece of matte plastic. Underneath the components are covered by a relatively light metal material, which is secured by eight screws. The bottom panel is easily removable for all of those fighting-stick modders out there who like to swap and tweak their controller components.
